I have to apologize for slacking on the blog. Life seems the find a way to steer us off track.
With the beginning of daylight savings time, a lot of us get caught in this kind of dream like fog.
The days seem shorter thanever. If five hours of light can be called a day.
It’s hard to keep a steady pace and get anything done.
You have to set small goals easy to complete. If you get in a rhythm of this, you’ll find it easy to complete all of your tasks, large and small.
Get in the habit of winning, of completing your goal. Start somewhere, easy tasks. You’ll build momentum.
If you structure your weekly goals and include things you enjoy, you’ll find you’re getting much more done. You have to be your own advocate. Don’t be a drill Sargent to yourself, you’re going to burn out.
Write out your weekly goals, how you want your week/weekend to look. Take the time to include the fun things. Always be kind to yourself.
The world post Covid is not the same. People in general are terrible to each other. Everyone is running around looking for a reason to be angry. There are so many small minded people that if it’s outside the norm, they think it’s dumb. They think they’re right without viewing anyone else’s view.
Every person you meet knows something you don’t.
Everyone in the world is self centered including you, but don’t let that blind you.
Don’t be like everyone else. Ask the hard questions.
Think big picture. Don’t be so firm in belief systems, the universe is too complex. There is no right, only right for you.
If you’re not familiar with Jordan Peterson check out his seminars and talks on YouTube.
He asks a lot of hard questions and doesn’t always have the same views of his colleagues. He gets a lot of hate in the field of academia, because he asks the hard questions. The questions everyone avoids.
I’m going to name drop a couple of good books to check out.
48 laws of power- Robert Greene
The Grand Design- Stephen Hawking
Self Matters- Dr Phil
